Harmonious or chaotic, rhythmic or discontinuous, the paintings by Kirra Jamison (born in 1982), orbit around their own world. And so also "Still Point", her latest, ethereal series, travels far from academic routes, free to fluctuate on canvas, in a pulsating galaxy of lines, shapes and colors.
Following exhibitions "Love me two times" (2011) and "Locomotor" (2012) the young Australian artist, active on the scene since 2006, returns with a solo show at Sophie Gannon Gallery, exploring the themes touched upon in the previous collections, in a process in which each work fuels the next.
