"LA PLAGE-Casadelmar" is above all a seaside story : a forgotten beach , an abandoned hotel hidden in a rough and preseved setting. Unlike Casadelmar where the breathtaking view strikes you at your arrival, the discovery of Benedettu is progressive, with glimpses to the main terrace overlooking the beach, a sandy cove opened on the Gulf of Porto- Vecchio, bordered by pines and red rocks.
The aesthetic choices, the furniture, the surfaces evoke the returning from the beach and its usages, the mat on which one has rested, the sand remaining on the feet, the beach cabin in time-worn wood, the shells that were found... Braids, meshes and matting presence recalling the summertime crafts. From the entry a carpet of sand runs to the terrace and draws a path to the beach through the reception areas.
