Renovation Private House by AST 77 Architecten

AST 77 Architecten has renovated a private house in Belgium. The architect say that the existing residential volume on the street side will be packed with a full-height on the thermal insulation. The entire volume will be finished with an ecological wooden trellis, being Thermal wood materials and fibre cement sheet. In this volume will be on ground floor the entrance hall, the bedroom and the office are provided.

PLESSI MUSEUM: A CULTURAL PIT-STOP ON THE MOTORWAY

At the Brenner Pass, where once stood customs between Italy and Austria - a place of exchanges and encounters, but also of divisions - rises Plessi Museum, that hosts inside it a permanent exposition space dedicated to Fabrizio Plessi (born in 1940), an artist from Emilia but raised in Venice who is famous for his video-installations.

The building, designed by engineer Carlo Costa (director of the Brenner motorway), is the first museum space on a highway in Italy and wants to be a symbol (in its architecture and the works on display), connecting the Latin world with the Germanic one.

Stewart House by Chenchow Little Architects

Stewart House is a minimalist house located in Whale Beach, Sydney, designed by Chenchow Little Architects. The Stewart House is located in Palm Beach on a ridge overlooking McKay Reserve within a bushfire 'Flame Zone'.
